The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, the leading national voice championing high quality and varied educational experiences for children and young people, has now opened its doors to members. Launched as a registered charity in 2009, we aim to champion learning outside the classroom and encourage young people to get out and about because research shows that children learn best through real life experiences.

If you believe in the benefits of learning outside the classroom, wish to have your say on policy and best practice and want to help to raise the profile of learning outside the classroom then we need your support. We are calling for organisations, schools and individuals with an interest in learning outside the classroom to support our aims by taking up membership today.
